M. Shadows (Matthew Charles Sanders)

Matthew Charles Sanders lahir di Huntington Beach, California, Amerika Serikat, 31 Juli 1981; umur 28 tahun; lebih dikenal dengan nama M. Shadows. M. Shadows adalah penyanyi dari grup musik Avenged Sevenfold.

Dia mendapatkan nama panggungnya karena dia seorang yang “Darker” karakter, tapi kemudian dia tidak mau nama Matt menjadi bagian dari namanya jadi dia lebih suka untuk memutuskan menamai dirinya M. Shadows. Dia mempunyai pacar bernama Valery yang pernah bernyanyi bersama KoRn. Pernah ikut band bernama Succesful Failure. Bisa memainkan drum, gitar, dan piano.

UUPS.....Pada masa kecilnya, Matt seringkali dikeluarkan dari sekolahnya karena dia berkali-kali melakukan kekerasan. Sebelum bernyanyi, Matt bermain bass. dan 3 kali operasi karena pita suara nya putus Matt di fonis dokter tidak bisa bernyanyi namun kenyataan nya di dapat bernyanyi hingga sekarang.

SYNYSTER GATES (Brian Hanner Jr.)

gates Lahir pada 7 Juli tahun 1981 dengan nama lengkap Brian Elwin Haner Jr. Bergabung dengan Avenged Sevenfold pada tahun 2001. Mempunyai proyek sampingan bersama The Rev bernama Pinkly Smooth. Bersekolah di Ocean View High School. Dia mempunyai toko pakaian sendiri bernama Syn Gates Clothing. Dia juga telah memenangkan the Young Shredder Award dan the Guitarist of the Year Award. Synyster Gate juga disponsori oleh Gitar Schecter. Tatto pertamanya adalah nomor satu di jempolnya. Dia pernah menjadi tamu dan rekaman bersama dengan Good Charlotte di lagu The River. Synyster Gate juga mahir bermain piano. Dia dulu ke Musicians Institute di Hollywood California.

Brian mendapatkan gitar pertamanya dari nenek dan kakeknya. Salah satu lagu pertama yang ia pelajari adalah lagu stairway to heaven karya Led Zeppelin. Ketika Brian duduk di kelas 6, ia sudah bisa menebak chord dari sebuah lagu hanya dengan menggunakan pendengarannya. Setelah Brian diberi gitar, dia mengatakan bahwa sekolah sudah tidak ada gunanya. Nilai bagus hanya dia peroleh sampai ia duduk di kelas 4.

Brian memasuki grup musik Avenged Sevenfold sebagai gitaris ketika ia berumur 18 tahun di akhir tahun 1999. Dia juga memainkan piano pada lagu "Beast and the Harlot" dan "Sidewinder"

ZackyVengeance (Zachary James Baker)

Zachary Ja mes B aker lahir pada 11 Desember 1981; umur 28 tahun; lebih dikenal dengan
nama Zacky Vengeance. Zacky adalah se orang pemain gitar dan penyanyi latar dari grup musik Avenged Sevenfold. Zacky adalah anak sulung, mempunyai saudara perempuan yang bernama Zina, dan saudara laki-laki bernama Matt. Orangtuanya bernama James dan Maria. Zacky mempunyai pacar bernama Gena Paulhus.
Zacky memelihara anjing yang diberi nama Ichabod Crane Vengeance.
Zacky mempelajari cara bermain gitar ketika dia berumur tiga belas tahun. Dia belajar secara otodidak. Gitar yang pertama kali ia gunakan adalah gitar ayahnya.

Johnny Christ adalah bassis keempat yang bergabung dengan Avenged Sevenfold ditahun 2002 menggantikan personil sebelumnya yaitu Dameon Ash dan Justin Sane. Dia dibesarkan di Huntington Beach, California. Johnny adalah adik dari teman sekolah Synyster Gates.

The Rev(James Owen Sullivan)

James Owen Sullivan, (lahir 9 Februari 1981 – meninggal 28 Desember 2009 pada umur 28 tahun; lebih dikenal dengan nama The Rev atau The Reverend Tholomew Plague) adalah seorang drummer sekaligus penyanyi latar untuk grup musik Avenged Sevenfold. The Rev juga sempat menjadi penyanyi utama pada grup musik Pinkly Smooth.The Rev juga yang menulis lagu baru Avenged Sevenfod berjudul A Little Piece of Heaven. Dia juga yang menemukan suara tertawa, nyanyian, dan teriakan di dalamnya. Saat dia masih remaja dia pernah terlihat berjalan-jalan menggunakan kimono berwarna cerah.
